The Mexican national soccer team, or the 'El Tri', has traditionally dominated CONCACAF play, winning their 6th in 2011. The most successful competitions to date for the Mexican national football team were reaching the quarterfinals of the World Cup in both 1970 and 1986. By consecutively qualifying for the World Cup since 1994, Mexico looks to use experience and tradition to continue the quest for gold.
